To ensure the safety of our visitors and the preservation of Arcadia and the trail system, the following is prohibited: Alcoholic beverages Bathing in unprotected areas Cutting of trees or shrubs Open fires, including charcoal fires, except in designated areas (from March 15 - May 15 no open fires between 10:00 am - 5:00 pm). In addition we require that: All campers obtain a permit and may camp only in designated areas Organized groups of ten or more persons obtain a SPECIAL USE PERMIT Travel on Arcadia roads be limited to 25 miles per hour The directions of an enforcement office or of any authorized representative of DEM be obeyed RI Department of Environmental Management Division of Forest Environment Arcadia Headquarters 260 Arcadia Road Hope Valley, RI 02832 (401) 539-2356 |
